A message from my heart:

It is through our pain that God leads us to our purpose.

For over 18 years AOA has provided aid to single mom’s, battered women and their children but recently our mission has changed and we have added a new service that enables us to reach additional people at their point of need and freedom from addiction.

Having had a personal experience with a loved one who was struggling with addiction and not knowing where to turn for help I felt the Lord was wanting to move us to the next level and HE was enlarging our territory. He was preparing me to become a resource that would help connect others struggling with addiction to FAITH based recovery centers via our web site.

This revelation came as no real surprise as I had been praying and asking the Lord “please guide and direct my footsteps. Please show me how I can more effectively help others in need.”

Within a few short weeks and after much investigating I began learning about recovery centers across the country and I started building this web site and hence AOAMinistry.com was birthed. It’s a simple tool that we hope will help you or your loved ones connect with a recovery program that can help lead them to a path of sobriety.

Addiction is a silent killer and the ravages of drugs & alcohol on a persons heart, lungs, liver & kidney’s is nothing to take lightly. Once the outward signs begin to show it is often to late for many. Ask me how I know? I am the mother of a redeemed addict who nearly lost her life to addiction but thanks to a loving & merciful God, He gave my loved one a second chance at life through a double organ transplant and it is a gift that we will be forever grateful.

Throughout our journey we spoke God’s WORD, words of life over our situation and He was faithful to His promises. Now it’s time to go out into the world and share our story of HOPE with others.

Psalm 105 1&2 says: “Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name, make known among the nations what He has done, sing praise to Him; and tell ALL of His wonderful acts.”

I would love to come and speak with your group and share our story: “Against all Odds” It’s a message of standing in FAITH, walking in HOPE and TRUSTING in God’s promises.
